We adapt to an ever-changing marketplace while providing an integrated and seamless continuum of quality care that puts patient recovery first.
We deliver positive, life-changing outcomes with proven, evidence-based treatment methods that incorporate innovative technologies for residential care, outpatient support, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to empower lasting recovery.
We develop ongoing partnerships with regulators, payers, referents, communities, and families. In addition, we continue to invest in expertise, tools, and resources for our community-based model of treatment to improve all lives affected by substance use disorders.
Our care consultants are available 24/7 to help you take the first step in finding the right level of care for you. They will perform a comprehensive screening, following the guidelines of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, to determine if addiction or abuse is present.
An intervention is a process by which an addict’s family, friends, counselors, or professional intervention specialists can show the addict his destructive behaviors in a way that may result in the addict choosing to seek help immediately. Our highly trained specialists can recommend an interventionist in your community.
Medical detoxification safely manages the acute physical symptoms of withdrawal associated with stopping drug use. However, medical detoxification is only the first stage of addiction treatment and by itself does little to change long-term drug use.
As soon as you stop using drugs or alcohol the body begins to detoxify, which can lead to intense discomfort and physical cravings. Attempting to detox on your own can have a high risk of potentially severe consequences—our inpatient programs provide maintenance and medically supervised withdrawal to abstinence.
If you need an intensive, structured setting with 24-hour care, our residential/inpatient treatment program offers a medically monitored, evidence-based therapeutic process with psychiatric services. Your customized treatment plan will include a primary focus on detoxification, counseling, group therapy, a 12-step program, life skills development, addiction education, wellness activities, and we coordinate care for co-occurring mental health issues.
Partial hospitalization/care provides a structured program of outpatient services as an alternative to inpatient care. It’s more intense than care you get in a doctor’s or therapist’s office. If you’re transitioning from inpatient to outpatient care, need more structure than outpatient care provides, or have co-occurring mental health issues, this program can be invaluable.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a type of treatment service that does not rely on detoxification. It supports programs used primarily to treat eating disorders, depression, self-harm, and chemical dependency. It is recommended in circumstances by a clinical and medical assessment and may be provided for those who do not need a medically supervised detox. This program will also enable people in recovery to continue their therapies following a successful detox. This is done by adhering to an intensive schedule on a part-time basis to accommodate work and family life.
Our general outpatient programs are the least structured forms of treatment we offer. They’re a way for patients to receive the support, education, and premier clinical care associated with Pinnacle Treatment Centers while at the same time integrating back to life, work, school, and relationships.
GOP differs from its cousins PHP/PCP and IOP in the scope of its clinical hours. While PHP/PCP and IOP consist of many hours of individual counseling and recovery groups each week, general outpatient is less than nine cumulative weekly hours. This hands-off approach allows our patients the freedom to take their sobriety to the next level. It’s an opportunity for them to apply, practice, and grow comfortable with the therapeutic and recovery techniques they’ve learned during higher levels of care.
We offer various programs and initiatives that can help enable loved ones of patients to stay engaged in aiding their loved one’s recovery.
We provide transitional living houses, more commonly called sober homes and sober living homes. These are facilities for people recovering from addiction issues and serve as an interim safe environment from main stream society. Providing this type of living environment can support sobriety and help people adjust to life without addiction.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including opioid treatment programs (OTPs), combines medications, counseling, and behavioral therapies to provide a whole-patient approach to treating substance use disorders.
Methadone
Methadone is the most successful of the medication-assisted treatments (MAT) for opiate addiction. Our MAT treatment includes comprehensive substance use disorder treatment, life-skills counseling, and supervised medical care. We provide you the tools to rebuild your physical health, mental health and, healthy relationships.
Suboxone®
Another form of MAT, our comprehensive Suboxone Maintenance Program includes medical intervention and treatment for long-term opiate addiction. Suboxone reduces the cravings of addiction to opioids while reducing the discomfort of withdrawal symptoms and, unlike methadone, can be prescribed in a doctor’s office
Vivitrol
Our outpatient facilities offer monthly injections of long-acting Vivitrol (Naltrexone) after detox. Scientifically proven to reduce opioid cravings and prevent relapse to heavy drinking for alcoholics, it is covered by many prescription plans.
Our alumni programs and initiatives are developed for continued support and contact with the patient to ensure they’re proceeding on a successful path of recovery. These programs and initiatives are proven to have positive outcomes through connecting individuals in recovery who have shared similar experiences.
Drug and alcohol addiction has reached epidemic levels throughout America. Between 2007 and 2013, heroin addiction tripled. In 2014, more than 21.5 million people had substance use disorders (SUDs) with alcohol (17 million people) and illicit drugs (7.1 million people). An estimated 2.6 million had both.
But there is hope. Pinnacle Treatment Centers facilities are CARF-accredited with decades of delivering positive, life-changing outcomes for patients with substance use disorders. We provide addiction recovery for alcohol, opioids, and prescription drugs using a combination of medication-assisted treatment (MAT), life-skills counseling and behavioral therapies.
Methadone is one of the most established and successful treatments for heroin use. In fact, the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) found that methadone treatment reduced patients’ heroin use by 70%, reduced criminal activity by 57%, and increased full-time employment by 24%. It also reduces deaths—the median death rate of opiate-dependent users in treatment is 30% lower than those not receiving treatment.
